Hi, I'm Ember (yes, like in a fire) and you've stumbled upon my little corner of the Internet.
I'm a recent graduate from the University of Missouri with my MLS, and am currently finding my way through the library world in the Pacific Northwest.
Some of my interests include technical services, information literacy instruction, and government documents. I have two years of experience working in reference and instruction at an academic library, and have also done time in special and public libraries. An example of my reader's advisory work can be seen here.
I haven't always been a librarian though--I got my Bachelor's degree in graphic design and worked in the industry for a few years before deciding to go back to school. You can see examples of my graphic design work in my design gallery.
